2: Product features:

YB-XII high-efficiency anti winding lightning rod is a type of ground wire lightning rod that can effectively prevent flashover accidents caused by lightning winding around wires.

The lightning rod has the following characteristics:

1) Lead discharge device, which actively discharges lightning when thunderclouds are nearby, leading lightning to the lightning rod;

2) The needle tip is specially designed with a field distortion jacket, which enhances the lightning triggering ability by about 10 times compared to ordinary lightning rods;

3) The length of the pole reduces the protection angle of the lightning protection line by about 15 degrees; Only 2 lightning rods need to be installed on each span and lightning protection line, which has better anti winding effect than ordinary anti winding lightning rods;

4) Needle bar symmetrical structure, equipped with a balance hammer, good balance;

5) Can resist icing and twisting, grip force>2.5kN, and does not slip on the ground wire.

6) Lightweight and will not cause damage to lightning rods. Experiments have shown that when installed on the ground wire, the probability of flashover can be reduced by more than 80% for lines of 220kV and above.

1. Install one overhead ground wire at a distance of ± 15-20 meters from the cross arm of the tower, with a total of four wires installed for each span.

2. Clamp the ground wire clamp onto the overhead ground wire and tighten the bolt ? (tightening torque 65Nm).

4： Installation steps and requirements (online installation&offline installation)

◆ Online installation:

1. High altitude workers can only carry out on-site operations after obtaining work permits and completing permit procedures;

2. Personnel control the automatic installation machine at the tower head to reach a distance of 35 meters from the tower, fix the anti winding lightning rod to the ground wire (or OPGW optical cable) through automatic locking, retreat to a distance of 20 meters, and install the second one;

3. The lightning lead side needle rod should face the outside of the line ground wire;

4. Take personal protective and safety measures during installation.

◆ Offline installation

If grounding is not allowed, offline installation methods must be used to install this product

1. Combine the dedicated small car and anti winding lightning rod according to the instructions and place them on the ground wire outside the anti vibration hammer.

2. The ground operator automatically adjusts the small car and pulls the anti winding lightning rod to a distance of 35 meters from the tower. The automatic timing device of the small car will automatically press down the spring to fully fix the anti winding lightning rod.

3. Repeat the above operation and install the anti winding lightning rod at a distance of 20 meters from the tower.

4. The lightning lead side needle rod should face the outside of the line ground wire.

5： Installation and maintenance

I. Installation precautions

1. The installation process must strictly comply with the relevant operating regulations of the national and local power grid;

2. After each installation of the finished product, the connecting bolts should be checked for normal and reliable operation;

3. No one is allowed under the tower during installation to prevent installation tools and products from falling and injuring people;

4. Be careful not to lose the installation tool when it is detached from the product;

5. After installation, pay attention to counting the installation tools and remaining products; 6. Please recycle the product packaging and do not abandon the site.

II. Maintenance and upkeep of the product

Due to its special materials and manufacturing process, this product has a significant characteristic of maintaining normal function in harsh environments. Therefore, daily maintenance and upkeep are not required without any quality issues of loose product components.
