Installation, debugging, and maintenance

1、 Installation sequence:

1. The lightning strike counter can be fixed on 40X4 flat steel and cable wires below 95mm2.

2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the transparent cover, loosen the screws in the four diagonal holes, and adjust or remove the lightning strike counter mounting bracket.

3. Place the collected wires (copper bars, cables, down conductors) in the fixed bracket, and tighten the screws in the four diagonal holes until the counter is fixed

Simply install the transparent cover of the counter again.

2、 Debugging and setup:

1. Clock setting: Remove the transparent cover, short press the "IO/LO/ZE" button or the "PLAY" button on the casing, and the screen will display the number of lightning strikes

Year, month, day, hour, minute, and second information. At this time, press and hold the "SU/NE" key for 5 seconds, and the corresponding year number will flash. Press "IO/LO/ZE"

After entering the corresponding year information, press the "NS/ADD" key again, and the month number will flash. Then press the "IO/LO/ZE" key to enter the corresponding month,

Similarly, set the day, hour, minute, and second information; After entering the time information, press and hold the "SU/NE" key for 5 seconds until the number on the screen stops

If it flashes again, the settings are saved.

2. Viewing frequency: During daily maintenance, if you need to check the lightning strike frequency in front of this machine, simply press the "PLAY" button below the casing

Or press the "Display/Reset" button to view the current lightning strike count record without removing the transparent cover.

3. History viewing: Remove the transparent cover, briefly press the "IO/LO/ZE" button or the "PLAY" button on the casing, and then briefly press "SU/NE"

Press the key to view the time information of each lightning strike.

4. Frequency preset: Remove the transparent cover, short press the "IO/LO/ZE" button or the "PLAY" button on the outer shell, and then long press "NS/ADD" for 5 seconds

Press the "IO/LO/ZE" key briefly once until the number of times information flashes. This will increase the number of lightning strikes by one. After setting, do not operate for 10 seconds until the screen is turned off

Automatically save.

5. Reset the number of times: Long press and hold the "PLAY" button or "Display/Reset" button on the shell for 5 seconds, or after removing the transparent cover, short press

Press and hold the "IO/LO/ZE" button for another 5 seconds until the lightning strike count displays 0. Do not operate for 10 seconds, then turn off the screen and reset to zero.

3、 Maintenance:

1. Regularly check the number of lightning strikes and clock errors. If the clock error is large, it should be set according to the above clock settings.

2. Equipped with 2 built-in ER14505 batteries for power supply, the theoretical standby time is about 8-10 years after leaving the factory. If the display becomes darker or does not display after 8 years

When necessary, it is necessary to replace the battery with the same specification, which is an international standard battery specification and can be purchased and replaced on-site.

3. Battery replacement method: Remove the transparent cover, unscrew the two H30 hex screws on the panel, remove the counter shielding box, and then remove the shielding box

Screw, remove the cover plate, unplug the 4P cable, lift out the old battery and replace it with a new battery (lift one, replace one) to prevent the counter from losing power

Electricity needs to reset the clock. After replacing the battery, insert the 4P cable, reinstall the shielding box cover, and tighten the two H30 hex screws on the panel

After threading, check if the time information is correct. If the time error is too large, you need to reset the clock. After completing the operation, tighten the transparent cover.
